Heavy guitars, beautiful vocals and one of the most intense rhythm sections this side of the 70s makes Nicole Fermie an act not to be taken lightly.
A don't give a f**k, image unconscious power trio in a world full of skinny jeans and massive egos, Nicole Fermie is here to just plain entertain.
Hers is a sound harking back to the glory days of Parliament Funkadelic, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, a powerful melody with one goal: to make you move. And Nicole Fermie's not hiding on stage; there's no sampling, no-one playing lead guitar around the corner, this is three musicians, two amps and a drumkit doing what they love; stripped-back power trio stuff brought right up to 2010.
The songs talk of real life; of parties and failed relationships, of innocence and excess, of life and learning its lessons. But don't think for a second that Nicole's going to show any weakness up on stage; far from it, this is a girl who's come out the other side and wants to show it.
On stage she has the chance to show us the musical knowledge she's gained having played the piano for 8 years before picking up the guitar at 16, making the live set full of improvisation and off-the-cuff stuff, and making each gig different from the last.
After moving to Bath Nicole ditched her acoustic guitar for a Stratocaster, a mean set of effects and one of the grooviest rhythm sections around (drummer Howard Gill and bassist Scott Barter).

Signing to the uber-cool Top Cat record label and singing backing vocals for West Country superstars Goldfrapp was the start of a productive couple of years, and with the help of producer Tim Oliver Nicole released an EP in 2008, and went on to finish her first LP 'Babel in Three' in 2009.
Working with the renowned Judgeday artist management team Nicole is currently honing a killer live set at some great venues in the UK and abroad, and all the signs point to big things in 2010.
